Terminal 2 opened in 2010 and serves as the hub for Aer Lingus (EI) and all transatlantic flights, including those operated by United Airlines (UA), Delta Air Lines (DL), American Airlines (AA), and Air Canada (AC). It also handles flights by Emirates (EK), Etihad Airways (EY), and Qatar Airways (QR). Terminal 2 features US preclearance facilities, allowing passengers to clear US immigration and customs before departure. It has a large duty-free area, multiple lounges (including the Aer Lingus Lounge and the 51st & Green Lounge), and a wide range of dining and shopping options.
The airport also has a dedicated cargo area and a separate general aviation terminal. The terminal buildings are connected by a covered walkway and a free shuttle bus that runs every 10–15 minutes.
The minimum connection time at DUB is 45 minutes for domestic-to-international transfers and 60 minutes for international-to-international transfers.

Taxi
Official taxis are available 24/7 outside the Arrivals hall of both terminals. A one-way trip between the city centre and the airport typically costs €30–35 (approximately $33–38) and takes 20–30 minutes depending on traffic. Only licensed taxis should be used.
