Montréal–Trudeau International Airport (IATA: YUL, ICAO: CYUL), commonly known as Montréal–Trudeau Airport or simply YUL, is the primary international airport serving Montréal, Quebec, Canada, and the busiest airport in the province. The airport is located in the city of Dorval on the Island of Montréal, approximately 20 kilometres (12 miles) from downtown Montréal.

Formerly known as Montréal–Dorval International Airport, the airport was renamed in honour of former Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau on January 1, 2004, by the federal government. Many Montrealers still refer to it as “Dorval Airport”.

YUL is a major hub for Air Canada and serves as a key gateway for Eastern Canada, connecting to nearly 150 destinations across Africa, Asia, Europe, and North and South America. The airport is owned and operated by Aéroports de Montréal (ADM), a private, not-for-profit corporation responsible for the management, operation, and development of YUL and the YMX International Aerocity of Mirabel.

In 2024, passenger volume was a little over 22 million. YUL has received significant recognition for its service quality. Skytrax ranked the airport staff as the best in North America in 2025, and the airport itself was named the eighth best in North America and the cleanest in North America. YUL also holds a 4-Star Skytrax World Airport Star Rating.

The airport is currently undergoing a massive $10-billion transformation over the next decade. Aéroports de Montréal has secured a $1-billion loan from the Canada Infrastructure Bank to support the plan, which will increase capacity to handle an expected 28 million passengers by 2028 and up to 35 million by 2035.
