Ministro Pistarini International Airport (IATA: EZE, ICAO: SAEZ), commonly known as Ezeiza International Airport, is the primary international gateway serving Buenos Aires, Argentina, and the busiest long-haul airport in the country. Located approximately 22–35 kilometres (14–22 miles) southwest of Buenos Aires in the Ezeiza district, the airport is operated by Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 (AA2000) and serves as the main hub for Aerolíneas Argentinas.
Ezeiza opened in 1949 and is named after Juan Pistarini, the Minister of Public Works who oversaw its construction. The airport covers 3,475 hectares and operates 24 hours a day. It is the primary airport for all international arrivals to Argentina, handling long-haul flights from North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania.
In 2025, Ezeiza served approximately 12.0 million passengers, making it the second-busiest airport in Argentina by total traffic after Aeroparque Jorge Newbery (AEP). International passengers accounted for 71% of Ezeiza’s traffic, domestic passengers 27%, and transit passengers 2%. The airport is the most important airport in Argentina by revenue contribution, generating 44% of Aeropuertos Argentina’s total revenue.
The airport features three terminal buildings (A, B, and C). The centralised check-in facility, now known as the Departure Terminal, is located in Terminal B, while Terminal A handles international arrivals and Terminal C primarily serves domestic flights.
