The main terminal was extensively modernised in 2007 and further expanded in 2023 with a new departures area, increasing annual capacity to 3.5 million passengers. The terminal is designed for efficient passenger flow, with check-in counters and security screening located on the ground floor and the departures area on the upper level. The recent expansion added new gates, additional security lanes, and a larger duty-free area.
The terminal features a range of passenger amenities including duty-free shops, cafes and restaurants, a business lounge, free Wi-Fi, and a tourist information desk. The airport operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The airport also has a dedicated cargo terminal, which handles the majority of Lithuania’s air cargo traffic. A separate general aviation facility is located on the northern side of the airport.

Official taxis are available 24/7 outside the Arrivals hall. The journey to Vilnius city centre takes 15–20 minutes depending on traffic and costs approximately €10–15. Only licensed taxis should be used. Taxi apps like Bolt and Uber are also available and are usually cheaper.
Ride-hailing
