The Express Bus 100 connects the airport to the city centre, stopping at both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, and terminating at Piața Unirii. The bus runs day and night — every 15 minutes during the day and every 30 minutes at night. The journey takes 45–90 minutes depending on Bucharest traffic. A 90-minute ticket costs 3 lei (approximately €0.60) and can be paid with an STB card, contactless bank card, or by SMS.
Night Bus N101
The Night Bus N101 operates when the train and Express Bus 100 are not running, covering late-night and early-morning hours. It connects the airport to various parts of the city.
Taxi
Official taxis are available 24/7 outside the Arrivals hall of both terminals. Passengers should book a taxi at the designated touchscreen kiosks inside the arrivals halls — a ticket with the taxi number and fixed fare per kilometre will be issued.
