Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) — Live Departures

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport operates two main terminal buildings — the Domestic Terminal and the Maynard H. Jackson Jr. International Terminal — connected to seven concourses (T, A, B, C, D, E, and F) by the Plane Train, an automated people mover that runs every two minutes on a 3-mile loop.

The Domestic Terminal is located on the west side of the airport and is divided into North and South sides. The South side primarily serves Delta Air Lines (DL), while the North side serves other domestic carriers including Southwest Airlines (WN), American Airlines (AA), and United Airlines (UA). The terminal has its own entrance and parking areas.

The Maynard H. Jackson Jr. International Terminal is located on the east side of the airport and handles most international departures and arrivals. It has its own entrance, separate from the domestic terminal, accessible from Interstate 75 at Exit 239. Passengers traveling outside the United States should check in at the international terminal.

The seven concourses are located between the terminals and are all connected by the Plane Train and a pedestrian tunnel with moving walkways. Concourses T, A, B, C, and D handle domestic flights, while Concourses E and F handle international flights. All seven security checkpoints provide access to all concourses, so passengers may use any checkpoint.

A free shuttle service connects the international terminal to the domestic terminal, with shuttles leaving from the curb outside the international terminal and dropping off at the west end of the domestic terminal. The Plane Train also connects the international terminal to the domestic terminal.

The minimum connection time at ATL is 60–90 minutes for most domestic-to-international transfers and 45–60 minutes for domestic-to-domestic transfers.
