Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport (IATA: AGP, ICAO: LEMG) is the primary international airport serving Málaga, the Costa del Sol, and the wider Andalusia region in southern Spain. The airport is located approximately 8 kilometres southwest of Málaga city centre, in the municipality of Churriana. It is the oldest airport in Spain, tracing its origins to 1919 as one of the original locations of Spain’s first airline.

AGP is the fourth busiest airport in Spain by passenger volume and serves as a major gateway for leisure travel to the Costa del Sol, one of Europe’s most popular holiday destinations. The airport is operated by AENA, S.M.E. S.A., and is classified as a Category 4F international hub. In 2025, Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport handled 26,760,549 passengers and 186,990 aircraft operations, with 4,662 tonnes of cargo.

The United Kingdom represents the largest source market for the airport, with London Gatwick topping the list of individual routes, followed by Barcelona, Dublin, Amsterdam Schiphol, Copenhagen, and Manchester. The airport also maintains significant domestic traffic, particularly with Madrid-Barajas.

AGP has received numerous recognitions for service quality and accessibility, including the ACI EUROPE Award for Best Airport in Europe in the 25–40 million passenger category in 2026, a Skytrax 5-Star Rating for COVID-19 Safety, and the Gold Medal of the Province of Málaga in 2022.
